We had the pleasure of visiting Lambton Public School. Lynn and I provided sessions for Kindy, Stage One and Stage Two. The children were beautiful. Thanks to Gabriele Quinn and the staff and students for having us. "The session presented by Lynn Jenkins and Kirrili Lonergan on 'Lessons of a LAC' was educational, informative and entertaining. The author and illustrator created a caring and inclusive environment where students felt safe and protected. The students were captivated from the beginning to the end and were able to take with them some great strategies for dealing with anxieties, writing stories and drawing illustrations." Lessons of a LAC were in the story tent at the Big Book Day Out organised by the NSW CBCA. A great day with the added bonus of watching dear friend, Liz Anelli launch her new book Howzat written by Mike Lefroy. |

I had the pleasure of visiting St Joseph's Kilaben bay School. They had some very talented artists and we drew some very interesting rats. A big thank you to Nada Farrell, Sonia Boslem, Vanessa Gebhard and all the staff and students for making me feel so welcome. |
